A mourning procession was brought out in Munshiganj town in the morning. People from all walks of life joined the procession, wearing black badges.

Former lawmaker and district Awami League President Mohammad Mohiuddin led the procession. Whip Sagufta Yasmin Emily participated in the procession and mass feeding at Louhajang and Tongibari.

Students of different educational institutions took part in painting and essay competitions organised as part of the government programme at Shilpakala Academy.
