Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Abul Kalam Azad on Thursday said the ideals of Atish Dipankar should be spread to the new generation in nurturing morality and human values.
He described Atish Dipankar’s message as a ‘torch bearer’ towards establish peace and mass awareness.
The minister was speaking as the chief guest at a function on ‘Human Values and Today’s Society’ and ‘distribution of Atish Dipankar Gold Medal-2010’ at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre here.
Privatization Commission Chairman Dr Mirza Abdul Jalil and Sonali Bank Chairman Baharul Islam, among others, spoke on the occasion.
Chairman of Atish Dipankar Research Association Golam Qader presided over the function.
