The 10-day long tree and fruit fair was concluded on Friday in the town. The fair started on July 7 in the compound of DC Office, Munshiganj. The fair was officially supposed to end on July 14 but in the interest of the nursery owners and common people it was extended.

A concluding ceremony was arranged in the auditorium of DC office on July 15 with DD DAE ,Munshiganj AKM Aminur Rahman in the chair. DC of Munshiganj Md. Azizul Alam was the chief guest while Mayor of Munshiganj pourasha was the special guest.

The ceremony started with the recitation from the Holy Quran and the welcome address was delivered by Umme Habiba, social forest conservator(Narayanganj-Munshiganj).

She thanked the participators and the organizers to make the fair a success.

A total of 45320 saplings were sold to the public and a total of 16,55.360 taka was earned by 20 nurseries. All the participators were awarded a certificate and at last prizes were given away .
