6 injured in Munshiganj clash

At least six people were injured in a clash between two groups of people over land dispute at Noadda village in Tongibari upazila on Thursday.

The injured were identified as Masuda Begum, 40, Taslima Begum, 35, Russell, 34, Sumon Poddar, 25, Shahadat, 20 and Ali, 45.

Police said Kawsar and Sadar Ali had been at loggerheads over the demarcation of boundary lines of their houses.

Locals said an altercation ensued between them over the issue at about noon. Later, both the groups attacked each other, leaving six people injured from both sides.

The injured were admitted to different hospitals and clinics.
