At least 15 people, including three bullet hit, were injured in a clash between two factions of ruling Awami League in Jognighat area of the district on Sunday evening.
Police held district Juba League general secretary Jakir Bepari and recovered bullets and lethal arms raiding in the area.
Witnesses said the two factions locked in a clash and gun fight centering filling earth in the area.
The injured of gun fight were rushed to Munshiganj General Hospital and others in local clinics.
Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Thana Abul Bashar said action is being taken against the persons involved in the clash.
