Police in separate drives arrested three leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami from different places of the town Sunday midnight.

The detainees are District Jamaat vice-president Nurul Haque Madbar, 75, Akhter Hossain, 50 and Abdus Sobhan, 23.

They were sent to jail by court at about 10:00am after produced them before it.

Sadar Thana SI Sultanuddin told banglanews, SI Mosharraf Hossain filed a case against the three leaders under explosive act at night.”
