The work order for the much-hyped Padma Bridge project would be issued within three-week, Communications Minister Obaidul Quader said.

The minister made the discloser while talking at a programme organised by Jubo Mohila League at political office of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasin on Monday.

He said: “The work order would be issued within three-week after a final evaluation by government procurement committee.”

China Major, a Chinese construction company has been selected as the contractor of Padma multipurpose bridge by local advisory and technical evaluation committee for the project.
