A burglary took place at Idrakpur High School in Munshiganj town after sometime in the early hours of Monday.

The burglars took away a laptop breaking an steel-made almirah at the administrative building of the school.

Idrakpur High School headmaster Md Reazul Huq said the school was closed on Sunday for Janmashtami. Opening the administrative building at about 9am on Monday, they detected the incident of burglary.

He further said the burglars entered the administrative building breaking a window of the school. Later, they entered inside breaking the lock of his room and took away a Doel laptop given by the government.

A case will be filed in this connection soon.
