A CNR-run auto rickshaw driver was killed in a road accident on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Gozaria upazila on Tuesday morning.

The dead was identified as Abdul Hanna, 40, son of Abdul Motalib.

SI Ashrafuddin of Gozaria Police Station, said an auto-rickshaw driver lost control over the steering in the area at around 8am and hit a bus near a Pump Station, leaving him dead on the spot.
