Police arrested a husband and his wife with 150 pieces of yaba tablets and cash 6,000 taka earned from yaba sale from Notungaon village under Munshiganj Sadar upazila on Thursday morning.

The arrestees are Md Bhashani, 38, and his wife Ruma, 35, of the village.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Munshiganj Sadar police station Abul Khair Fakir said the couple was involved in drug peddling for long. Earlier, they were arrested several times in this connection. A case under Narcotics Control Act was lodged against them.
