Two siblings drowned in a pond beside their house at Kangshapura village under Latabdi union in Sirajdikhan upazila here on Saturday noon.

The deceased were identified as Raihan, 4, and Jihad, 2, sons of Bachan Matbor of the village.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sirajdikhan Police Station Md Yeardous Hasan and locals said the siblings were playing beside the pond. At one stage, they fell in the pond and drowned.
