Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Monday said the mystery of Sohagi Jahan Tanu murder would be unearthed like other murder cases as the intelligence agencies are working with utmost importance.
“Intelligence are working on the Tanu murder incident in Comilla . . . probe-body has been formed. . .police is investigating. Like other murder incidents, the mystery of Tanu murder would be unearthed,” he told journalists after inaugurating a photo-exhibition at Shilpakala Academy auditorium here.
Replying to another query whether investigation is being disrupted in the cantonment area, Kamal said it would be scrutinised how such incident has been taken place in the secured area.
“But, before investigation it cannot be said,” he added.
Earlier in the inauguration ceremony of the photo-exhibition on “Bangabandhu, Liberation War and Independence”, the minister said Bangladesh would never be a militant country as Bangalees do not believe in militancy, according to a news agency.
