Huge visitors have rushed to different holiday resorts of the district on Eid vacation. The rush of the visitors has increased since the day after the Eid-ul-Fitr.

With their family members and relatives, the visitors have been coming to M J Holiday Resort in Sirajdikhan upazila, Padma Resort and Mawa Resort at Mawa under Louhajang upazila.

The M J Holiday Resort is located on eight and a half acres of land at Paschim Ichhapura village under Sirajdikhan upazila.

The resort was set up only two years ago and is equipped with all sorts of recreational facilities including swimming pool, playground, pond, stage for song performance, shooting spot for drama and cinema. This is the only resort in Munshiganj where there are three swimming pools.

Director of M J Holiday Resort Mia Abdul Momin said, “There are all kinds of facilities for the visitors at the resort. Besides, three to four programmes under the banner ‘M J Holiday Resort Fun Club’ are organised here.”

The Padma Resort was set up on the char areas of the Padma River in Louhajang upazila. The number of tourists is increasing at the resort day by day.

The resort has small cottages which are located on 350 decimals of land. Tourist can go to the resort on speedboats.

The Mawa Resort is located on 65 bighas of land in Mawa under Louhajang upazila. There are huge ponds and numerous trees at the resort.

All sorts of facilities are equipped at all the resorts of Munshiganj. Visitors can go there from Dhaka within short time.

Visitors from Dhaka and Narayanganj informed that they can enjoy their leisure at these resorts with full facilities.
