Corruption to be institutionalized if BNP comes in power : Obaidul

Mozammel Hossain Sajal: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Tuesday alleged that the BNP would give corruption an institutional shape if the party returns to power.

“The BNP will expose its character scrapping section 7 from the party organogram once it comes in power. The country will again become champion in corruption as BNP will give corruption an institutional shape,” he said while talking to journalists at Nimtola bus stand in Sirajdikhan upazila.

The minister visited the area to witness the activities of a mobile court conducted by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) on the Dhaka-Mawa highway.

Quader, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, said the Prime Minister’s comment displeased BNP as it unmasked the party’s character.

The government has nothing to do if the BNP Chairperson disqualifies for participating in the next election.
