Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal leader held for ‘derogatory’ comments on PM , derogatory remarks on social media
A local leader of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has been arrested from Bejgao area of Sreenagar upazila for allegedly making derogatory remarks about Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on social media.

The arrestee was identified as Ashraful Shuvo, president candidate of JCD’s upazila unit and former organising secretary of Sreenagar College unit.

Superintendent of Police Enayet Hossain of Rab-11 said Shuvo made a post on his Facebook wall criticising the relief distribution programme of the prime minister and execution of Bangabandhu’s killer Abdul Majed.

He was arrested from his house early Thursday, he said.
