Prime Minister and Awami League president Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday expressed deep shocked at the death of former councillor of Munshiganj Municipality Ward 9 and district Swechhasebak League vice- president Alhaj Zakir Hossain.

She prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
Zakir hossain breathed his Tuesday night at a city hospital. He was 46.

He left behind wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives, colleagues and well-wishers.

Meanwhile, Road Transport and Bridges Minister and AL general secretary Minister Obaidul Quader also expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of the AL leader.
