The army personnel have recovered 219 weapons and 7,825 round of bullets that were looted from Munshiganj sadar and Tongibari police stations following the 5 August political changeover.
PSC Captain Lt Col Zubair Mohammad Khaled Hossain formally handed over 140 weapons, 3,934 round of bullets and other equipment to Munshiganj Superintendent of Police Mohammad Aslam Khan at the Munshiganj Circuit House this (18 August) morning.
The arms and ammunitions were looted from the Sadar Police Station on 5 August.

The army personnel recovered the weapons and ammunition during drives in different areas of Munshiganj Sadar, according to sources at the district army camp.
Meanwhile, the members of army handed over 79 weapons and 3,891 rounds of bullets that were looted from Tongibari Police Station.
