Bangladesh Army arrested four individuals allegedly involved in drug trafficking from Gazaria upazila of Munshiganj district early Friday.
The arrested were identified as Badsha Mia, 38, Md Shahid, 35, Alamgir, 45 and Abdul Mannan, 35, all residents of Gazaria upazila.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of officials from Munshiganj Sadar Army Camp under the headquarters of 99 Composite Brigade conducted a drive in Char Baushia Borokandi area in the upazila and arrested the quartet along with arms and drugs.
Army personnel recovered 520 pieces of Yaba pills, 2 kg of hemp, 5 locally made arms and 3 mobile phones from their possessions.
Munshiganj Army Camp confirmed the incident through a press release and said that the arrested, along with the seized items, were handed over to Gazaria Police Station for further legal procedures.
