Bangladesh Sangbadik Samity (BSS) President and language movement veteran Shafiuddin Ahmed was admitted to Holy Family Hospital in a critical condition on Tuesday, reports BSS.

He is suffering from diabetes, heart and respiratory problems, said a BSS press release.

Shafiuddin is being treated at semi-cabin number-7 on the first floor of the hospital under the care of Professor Dr. Kaniz Mawla.

His family members, relatives and BSS General Secretary Delwar Hossain sought doa from everybody for the early recovery of Shafiuddin.
