The low-lying areas of Munshiganj have been inundated due to the whole night’s excessive rain on May 28.
The torrential rain has also destroyed the vegetable fields on high lands as the roots of the vegetables plants have been washed away by rain.
The people of Munshiganj had experienced a heavy rainfall on May 28. The low land’s vegetables have gone under water and it is feared that if this situation persists the situation will be aggravated.
Vast tracts of low lands of Sreenagar, Lauhajung and Tangibari upazilas of the district have gone under water. There has been a rise in vegetables from the morning as a negative impact of the rain.
