A truck driver was electrocuted in West Muktarpur area in the district Saturday morning. The deceased was identified as Masud, 26, truck driver of Shah Cement Factory, son of Mofizur Rahman, hailed from Companiganj Thana of Noakhali.

Sources said Masud came in contact with a live electric wire while parking the truck inside Shah Cement factory at about 11am.

Muktarpur police outpost SI Mizanur Rahman confirmed this to banglanews.
