AL office torched in Louhajang

fire12Miscreants set ablaze the Awami League office of ward-4 unit of Kumarbhog union in Louhajang uapzial early Thursday. Louhajang thana officer-in-charge Abul Kalam Azad said the criminals set fire to the AL office at Mawa intersection by pouring petrol around 3:30am.

A patrol team of police saw the fire and doused it immediately. The ruling party blamed BNP for the incident but BNP dismissed the allegation. Munshiganj BNP general secretary Ali Asgar Mallik Ripon said it was a conspiracy against his party, according to a news agency.
