Another body has been recovered from Meghna River eight days after a passenger vessel capsized in Munshiganj’s Gazaria.

So far, 58 bodies have been recovered from the accident site.

The body of a girl child was found around 11am on Thursday, Gazaria Police Station OC Ferdous Hossain said.

The baby’s identity could not be known as yet.

On May 15, the launch ‘MV Miraz-4’ sank with more than 200 passengers on board after it was caught in a storm on its way to Shariatpur from Dhaka.
