A group of dacoits looted cash and gold ornaments from two houses at Sirajdikhan and Munshiganj on Sunday night. The dacoits looted away Tk. 95, 000 cash, 10 gram of gold, 2 mobile sets and other valuables from the houses.

During the dacoity one person was injured.

Chairman of Keyain Union Parishad Md. Abdul Bareq said that a group of dacoits numbering 10 to 12 with masked looted the houses of Manik Mandal (35) and Masud Moral (30) of Shikarpur village of Keyain union at about 1.00am on Sunday night.

At first the dacoits entered into the house of Manik Mandal and assaulted him mercilessly. They also threatened other inmates of the house on gun-points and looted away Tk. 60, 000 and 10 gram of gold.

In the second incident, they entered into the house of Masud Moral and looted Tk. 35, 000 and 2 mobile sets.

Sirajdikhan Police Station ASI Mir Noor Islam said that no one did not filed any case after the dacoity and not to informed local police station.
