A driver killed and 10 others were injured when a bus hit a private car on the Dhaka-Mawa highway on Wednesday morning. The identity of the dead could not be known.

Police sergeant Monir Hossain of Hasara Highway Police Station said a ‘Hamim Paribahan’ bus hit a Dhaka-bound private car from behind at around 6:45am, leaving the car driver on the spot.

The bus also plunged into ditch.
