An activist of Jubo League has received bullets when unknown miscreants opened fire on him in Ganakpara area of Munshiganj town.

Shahajalal Mizi, 23, who received two bullets, has been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Munshiganj police station OC Yunus Ali said: “We do not have any information about the miscreants. Investigation is underway.”

“Shahajalal was arrested by police earlier in several cases. But recently he was released on bail,” the OC added.
