Mozammen Hossain Sajal: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Monday said that People won’t respond to the call of BNP as they’ve rejected the party’s ‘negative politics’.
“Country people have rejected the violent politics of BNP. They neither responded to their call for movement in last nine years nor to respond in next nine months,” said the minister after visiting the construction works of the bailey bridge in Srinagar upazila bazar of Munshiganj.
BNP thought to wage a huge movement, but no movement was seen anywhere, he said adding that the party’s politics got stuck on press briefing.
“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina addressed public meetings at several places. Huge presence of enthusiastic people in Fakhrul’s ancestral home Thakurgaon and Chandpur proved that they will again cast vote for boat,” said Obaidul, also the general secretary of Awami League.
The minister also said that everybody knows that country’s development is only seen during Awami League’s tenure so they’ve already taken their decision.
