The local administration has imposed Section 144 in Tongibari upazila of Munshiganj after two rival groups of ruling Awami League initiated separate programs at the same time in the same place.

Restricting any kind of political gathering on Friday, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Hasina Akhter slapped the ban at Kamarkhara Bazar and its surroundings effective from 6am and it will continue till 10pm.
