It was learned that Tuhin was beaten up in Pura area of Tongibari upazila around 5:00 pm on Monday (March 13). There people of Kalpana’s group picked him up and took him to the garden and beat him, leaving severely injured. Later the locals rescued him and admitted to Munshiganj General Hospital. Later, as the condition was serious, the doctor referred him to Dhaka. Dr Kamal Pradhan of the Munshiganj General Hospital’s emergency department said Tuhin was brought to the hospital with serious injuries around 9:00 pm on Monday. The victim’s body had marks of beating.

He was referred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital as his condition was critical. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Tongibari Police Station Rajib Khan said, “I heard about the death of the youth due to beating. Legal action will be taken based on the autopsy and the case.
