Muhith emphasises development of knowledge for nation’s progress

Bengal Book Museum opens at Louhajang
Finance Minister (FM) Abul Maal Abdul Muhith said, “Not only economic growth, development of knowledge is also necessary to progress in the fast advancing world.”

He made this comment while speaking as chief guest at the inaugural function of Bangiya Grantha Zadughar (Bengal Book Museum) at the office of Agrasar Bikrampur Foundation at Kanakasar of Louhajang upazila on Friday morning.
At the function, Attorney General Mahbube Alam, Presidium Member of Bangladesh Awami League and President of ‘Agrasar Bikrampur Foundation Nooh-ul-Alam Lenin, Administrator of Zila Parishad and President of District Awami League Mohammad Mohiuddin Ahmed, Additional SP Halim Hussain, and Chairman of Louhajang upazila Osman Gani Talukder were also present, among others.

The guests also visited the museum.

A cultural programme was organised in the end of the discussion. The artistes of Bangladesh Betar performed the programme.

Later, Finance Minister inaugurated the office of Agrasar Bikrampur Foundation and Abdul Zabbar Mukta Mancha.
