Two people were killed and four others injured in a road accident in Old Bausia area under Gazaria upazila of the district on Tuesday morning. The deceased was identified as Tajul Islam, 25, and Parul Begum, 55.

Sub-Inspector of Gazaria Thana told banglanews that a Dhaka-bound collided with a vehicle in the area, leaving driver Tajul and passenger Parul dead on the spot and four others injured.

A case was filed with the thana, he added.
