The Coastguard’s Pagla camp commander Ferdous Ahmed told bdnews24.com that the owner and employees of the warehouse haded locked the warehouse around 10am.

Later, the rice was seized in presence of executive magistrate Poorshia Akther after filing a general diary with the Sadar Police Station.

“The rice might have been brought here from the food depot for sale,” the Coastguard official added.
